The president of the world’s highest football governing body FIFA Joseph S. Blatter has lauded for the successful end of Somali football election, which took place in the volatile Mogadishu on Monday 19th of July 2010.
The Somali sports press association (SSPA), which is a full member of international sports press association on Wednesday, described the country’s football federation election earlier in the week as “a major breakthrough” in Somali sporting elections.
The eighth congress of the Somali Football Federation (SFF) has elected a new executive committee during the session held at Mogadishu’s Sahafi International hotel on Monday 19th of July 2010.
